After nine days of hiking through the Arizona desert, Victor Garcia Chavez, 29, of Guerrero, Mexico, had enough and gave himself up at the Silverbell Mine in Puma County. Because he was mildly dehydrated, Border Patrol agents give him some IV fluids on Aug. 1.
