Computer Addiction goes green! For the last sixteen years we have been using more lights every year. We use so much energy during Christmas that we had three separate circuits installed just to power our displays. Last year we used about twenty percent LED lights and saw a reduction in our PG&E bill and found that wiring was more simple as well. This year we made the switch to 100% LED Christmas lights at a cost of just under a thousand dollars for nearly ten thousand lights. Our energy bill two years before was close to a thousand dollars for the duration of the display. This year we are powering the entire display with one dual outlet (two years ago we had to use three) and hope to keep our bill under two hundred dollars.
