To remind rate-payers and neighbors regarding the ongoing water meter installation program, as well as offer tips to conserve water and save money, the Fair Oaks Water District (FOWD) invited CBS13 & CW31 "Good Day, Sacramento" reporter Taryn Winter-Brill to help them install a water meter early December 12. Ever the good sport, Taryn donned a hard-hat and rubber hip boots, before jumping into this five-foot deep water main hole, with FOWD Field Supervisor Johnny Spinella. Spinella demonstrated how to install a water meter, before teasing Taryn by shoveling dirt on her foot while she reported on live television.
