Orangevale resident and Sacramento Police Department Sergeant Darryl Gould sprints towards the finish line of Eppie's Great Race after paddling 6.35 miles down the American River. Gould's team (also consisting of runner Brent Kaneyuki of Antelope and and biker Don Crye of El Dorado Hills) placed third in the Eppie's Great Race "Police and Fire Division" with a time of 1:56:05.
